Non-segregated three-phase circular busducts are a more economical and more reliable solution for current connections than three-phase rectangular busducts type and cables.

They are highly reliable and maintenance-free. These advantages are achieved by a special welding technology of the conductors and enclosure at the stage of the busduct assembly. This avoids bolted connections on the entire length of the busway. This way a busduct may be made up to the IP65 degree of protection.

HOLDUCT provides three-phase busducts optimized for the needs of the customer in order to get the most savings through:

  • reduction of assembly time,
  • busduct trunking and support structure configuration.

A three-phase circular busduct is a shielded, self-supporting, naturally cooled air-insulated busduct.

Three phase conductors are arranged symmetrically in a common housing and supported on supporting insulators.

This design reduces the impact of short-circuit currents on the busduct system and minimizes the emission of electromagnetic fields.
Fitting the busduct with a dry-air overpressure system ensures its safe operation in the harshest environments, eliminating the danger of humid and polluted air entering into the busduct.

The busduct may be made with maintenance hatches or without them. The use of maintenance hatches allows for monitoring the condition of insulators and their possible replacement.

Individually designed supporting structures allow 12-30 metre spacing between them.

Design:

The segregated, three-phase, rectangular busducts is a shielded, self-supported, naturally cooled and air-insulated busduct.

Three phase conductors are arranged symmetrically in a common housing and attached to support insulators.

The individual phases are separated by a metal barier. This ensures greater resilience of the busduct to phase-to-phase short circuit faults.

The use of maintenance hatches allows for monitoring the condition of the support insulators and possible replacement.

Delivery includes:

Single-phase busducts are used in systems of power evacuation from generators for currents up to 30kA and voltages up to 36kV.

Their main characteristic is the high reduction of the electromagnetic field and high resistance to short-circuit currents.

Design:

A single-phase busduct is an isolated, shielded, self-supporting, naturally cooled and air-insulated conductor.

Each phase conductor is encapsulated centrally in a individual enclosure and supported by post insulators. This eliminates phase-to-phase short circuits.

Dry-air overpressure system applied in the busduct system ensures its safe operation in the harshest environments, eliminating the danger of humid and polluted air entering into the busduct.

The use of maintenance hatches allows for monitoring the condition of insulators and their possible replacement.

EUROBAR Cast Resin insulated busducts

EUROBAR Cast Resin insulated busducts are used for connecting of the low voltage units in the most difficult weather conditions.

Characteristic:

  • very low reactance,
  • resistance to chemical and industrial corrosion,
  • resistance to climatic conditions,
  • high resistance to short-circuit currents and electric arc.

 

This product is maintenance-free. It may be used with both DC and AC currents.

Structure:

The current paths are encapsulated in composite resin forming the insulating element of the busduct. The busduct is enclosed in an aluminium housing which also serves as protective grounding.

Depending on the number of bars used, a busduct may be operated in DC or AC systems (3P, 3P + N, 3P + N + PE systems).
